AULIYA MOSQUE DAMAGED IN NORTHEAST DELHI VIOLENCE REOPENS

After Friday Prayer, the president of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind, Qari Syed Muhammad Usman inaugurated 53 houses and 13 shops lying from Chaman Park, Auliya Masjid upto Shamshan Ghat, which got damaged during the riots. Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind has built them.

On Friday 13th November, 2020 the Aulia Masjid in Shiv Vihar, Northeast Delhi, which was damaged by the rioters in February 2020 has been reopened by the president of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind, Syed Muhammad Usman Mansoorpuri. The mosque is witness to the sabotage wreaked to the houses and shops located around it and the loss of innocent lives. The rioters had tried to destroy the mosque by cylinders. Situated beside the road, the mosque belongs to the denomination Barailvi and it is a significant mosque in the neighborhood. These houses, shops and the mosque have been built under the leadership of the General Secretary of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind, Ml. Mahmood Madani. Prior to Friday Prayer in this mosque, the President of Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind delivered a specific sermon and presented very relevant facts citing the source of Islam, Hadith regarding the importance and significance of the mosque in the life of Muslims. He said that it is narrated from Abu Huraira Razi Allahu Anho that when there would not be any shade and shelter to protect from heat on the day of the Judgment, some privileged persons shall have the shade and shelter to protect the heat from the Almighty Allah, who shall include those persons whose hearts continue attracted towards the mosque. He expressed his happiness and gratitude that the workers of the Jamiat have rebuilt this house of the Almighty Allah. The President of the Jamiat offered special prayer for all those persons who contributed money in these works for better reward. He wished prosperity and success for them in both the worlds. On this occasion, the Imam and Khatib of this mosque, Ml Irfan of Pilibhit wholeheartedly thanked the Jamiat-e-Ulema Hind and insisted to promote the message of the Jamiat “Unity of Ummah”.
